The KK is a student association aimed at Linguistics and Literature students who follow or have followed a programme that includes Latin or Greek.

The KK is a pluralistic association, transcending political cleavages, but still focused on defending the interests of classical languages students, in particular those who study Latin and/or Greek at Ghent University. Other students are welcome nonetheless. We welcome everyone with a heart for classical languages.

The KK commits itself to uniting students in friendship and tolerance, and gives attention to different aspects of our student life. The association aims at improving the cooperation between academic, administrative and technical staff and students Latin and/or Greek. This happens outside of the classroom, more specifically by organizing festivities, cultural excursions, sports activities and socio-historical lectures. In partnership with the university the KK organises activities of general interest as well, like the info day for future students and the introduction day at the beginning of the academic year. The KK assists students where possible.
